The head of communication of the Innoson vehicle manufacturing company, Mr Cornel Osigwe, said that this is a great milestone and achievement in the Nigerian automobile industry and that the Innoson electric car is manufactured at IVM’s state-of-the-art production facility in Nnewi.

What are electric cars?
Electric cars are mostly cars that are powered by Electric traction motors, and they use electric energy as the primary source of propulsion. They are not like the conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, which use fuel as a source of energy. Electric cars generate less waste, and they are more responsive, quieter, and have no exhaust emissions.
